The Y Discovery Camps take a multi-level approach to partnerships. We have established extensive networks of complementary partnerships. The collaborative work we undertake with stakeholders and like-minded organisations enable greater impact to the communities in which we work. The ability to connect runs at a local level, such as tourist agencies and speciality service suppliers, through to industry specialists and government contract partnerships.

Partners
International Camping Fellowship
The International Camping Fellowship connects camp education professionals across the world to share knowledge on their outdoor experience. Y Discovery Camps is a proud partner of the International Camping Fellowship and has been working with them since 2008. Through this partnership, the Y runs international camp training every year, with over 150 Australian camp operators participating. We've delivered camp trainings in China, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore and Turkey. This partnership has allowed the Y to learn from others in the camping space, develop solutions to key issues and exchange staff and participant groups from around the world.
Lifesaving Victoria
Lifesaving Victoria's mission is to prevent aquatic-related death and injury. Their vision is that all communities will learn water safety, swimming and resuscitation, and be provided with safe beaches, water environments and aquatic venues. Through our partnership, the Y Discovery Camps staff are trained to facilitate Life Saving Victoria’s Open Water Learning Experience program. This program is designed to teach participants how to be safe in open water environments.
Sport and Recreation Victoria (Victoria State Government)
Sport and Recreation Victoria supports Victoria's sport and recreation sector. Inspiring people in Victoria to get active. Y Discovery Camps works in partnership with Sport and Recreation Victoria to manage five camps – Anglesea Discovery Camp, Camp Manyung, Lady Northcote Discovery Camp, Howmans Gap Discovery Camp and Mt Evelyn Discovery Camp. This collaborative partnership provides opportunities for all Victorians to experience the great outdoors and participate in camping experiences.
Australian Young Christian Workers (YCW)
The Australian Young Christian Workers is a movement run for, by and with young people to serve, educate and represent them. Y Discovery Camps has been working with them since 2004. Our strong partnership has allowed us to manage the Phillip Island Discovery Camp, a seaside facility with an incredible view of Bass Strait.
