At Mt Evelyn Recreation Camp, we can create an experience tailored to your needs. We offer a variety of packages throughout the year for both schools and large groups.

We can accommodate up to approximately 130 guests. We require a minimum group size of 50 campers for all weekends and school holiday periods..

We offer a variety of packages to suit your needs including: different lengths of stay in our accommodation; and a range of programs and activities - with tailored pricing based on your requirements. For example, you could choose a more basic option - where a few activities are led by our camp leaders and you self-cater (minimum of 50 guests per group); right through to a full package - where all activities are instructed by our camp leaders and all meals are catered for.

  • School packages

    We run a variety of school packages and can tailor to your needs on length of stay, number of catered meals, and number of YMCA-led activities vs teacher-led activities. Schools usually booking for during the week. Our most popular package we provide is as follows:

    • two nights accommodation*
    • six meals
    • six YMCA-led activities
    • shared dorm style room with bunk beds
    • shared bathroom facilities

    *We also offer day visits.

  • Group packages

    Whether you're a community group, sporting group or just looking to celebrate a special occasion or birthday, we run group packages tailored to your needs.

    You can choose your length of stay, number of catered meals, and if you would like any YMCA-led activities. Groups usually book for the weekend. Our most popular package we provide is as follows:

    • full weekend stay (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon)*
    • two nights accomodation
    • five meals
    • group leader-led activities, no YMCA-led activities
    • shared dorm style room with bunk beds
    • shared bathroom facilities

    *We also offer day visits.

  • Self-catering packages

    We run self-catering packages for groups with a minimum of 50 guests. Our most popular package we provide is as follows:

    • from two days, one night accommodation*
    • self-catering (with access to our kitchens)
    • shared dorm style room with bunk beds
    • shared bathroom facilities
    • access to our kitchen, including fridge and freezer

    *Please note, the minimum length of stay is two days, one night accommodation.

  • Meeting packages

    At Mt Evelyn, we do not offer conference and meeting facilities hire separate to accommodation bookings. Instead they can be hired as part of accommodation bookings. The hire of the camp includes access to all the facilities on site. YMCA instructed activities incur an additional cost.
