Whether your school or group is looking for a chance to learn about the great outdoors, or wants an exciting challenge - we’ve got you covered!
At Mt Evelyn Discovery Camp, we run a range of programs and activities that take advantage of the beautiful environment and the natural spaces around the site. From challenge activities like mountain biking, to environmental activities such as wildlife encounters; from group-led activities like bush cooking, to night activities including dreamtime storytelling - you'll have so much fun at camp.
Our activities are run by our qualified program instructors, who use our comprehensive Learning Framework to encourage participants to experience personal growth, appreciate their natural surroundings and connect with the community. Together, we can identify your desired learning outcomes and work with you to tailor a camp experience that matches your requirements.
We want to make your experience as tailored as possible. Which is why as well as the full package option (where all activities are instructed by our camp leaders), the mid-range and basic options are available (where some of the activities are led by our camp leaders and other activities by your teachers or group leaders). Find out more about our packages and prices.
As well as programs and activities run at camp, we also run a 'Camps to Schools' program - where we bring the camp experience to your school.

Our programmers are experienced in facilitating fun activities for a wide range of ages. No matter whether our campers are preppies or grade 6, we will design fun and engaging programming around their age and ability.
Catering
Each program coordinator can work together with the school to tailor a menu and supply dinner by our experienced cooks.
Age range and group size
We can design a campout for ages ranging from prep through to year 12. For us to facilitate the program, we require a minimum of 15 families to participate.
What to bring
Tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag or bedding, pillows, camping chairs, weather appropriate clothing (it can get cool at night) and most importantly a sense of fun and adventure! We can supply tents and sleeping mats where required.
Cost
We aim to make this an affordable program for families with pricing starting from $25.00 per person (including dinner, programming and campfire fun) with an additional $12.00 for tent hire and $5.00 per sleeping mat.
