COVID Safe plan
We understand school and community groups may have some concerns about the safety of attending our camps even as COVID-19 restrictions have eased.
Please be assured, the health, safety and wellbeing of guests and staff remains our number one priority.
We are taking every precaution recommended by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and are continually reviewing our own health and safety procedures to ensure they meet current guidelines.

Covid safe vaccines
All facilities will comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements as directed by their government authority. The Y will provide staff opportunity to attend vaccination appointments and access vaccination information. -
Training for staff
All staff have completed the Department of Health COVID-Safe training, as well as additional training provided by YMCA Victoria to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge to keep you safe. -
Increased hygiene and cleaning
You will notice that hand sanitiser is available throughout our camps with the expectation that everyone (staff and visitors) regularly sanitises their hands.
All camps, especially high traffic areas, are cleaned regularly, with rooms are thoroughly after each group has visited prior to the next group.
